Greate place to work

Pros

Really smart and dedicated colleagues, which makes a big difference day to day. The codebase is a bit dated, but everyone is actively working on improving it, and there's good organization across the teams with clear roadmaps in place. Management is great — supportive, knowledgeable, and they genuinely know what they're doing. The level of transparency throughout the company is something I really appreciate. All in all, a really good place to work!

Cons

The learning curve is a bit steep — the app and codebase take a while to get used to, especially since the work is a bit different from most jobs I've had before. That said, it's not really a dealbreaker. Everyone expects newcomers to need at least a year to fully find their feet, and they're upfront about that from the start of onboarding, which is actually helpful to hear. The other con worth mentioning is the compensation, which is on the lower side.

Pros

- Unlimited PTO (yes I understand how this can be viewed as a con but I assure you that you're encouraged to take advantage of this) - Flexible remote work environment. As long as you get your work done in a timely manner the company doesn't care when you do it. Employees are scattered all across the world working with clients that are also scattered all across the world. There are times you'll have to work before dawn and other times you'll have to work until midnight, but that means you have the liberty to do whatever you need/want to do during the day - 401k match - meaningful, challenging work - management is patient and understanding with new hires. they make it clear that there is a lot to take in with this job and they don't want new hires to rush or burn themselves out too early. when it comes to learning the business it's a marathon, not a sprint

Cons

- there's a small feeling of 'sink or swim' here. Because they treat their employees like actual adults that does mean there won't be a lot of hand holding if you need assistance or if you're learning on the job. you are expected to seek out your own answers and to take initiative, even though you will make mistakes. it's a natural 'con' to what is also considered to be a 'pro'
