Pros

The pay is decent, if you've worked here several years and fought for increases each year. Some colleagues are incredible humans - but not in management.

Cons

Working here has left me depressed, depleted and disillusioned. No matter how much of yourself you give, it will never be enough, and recognition is virtually nonexistent. All management cares about is numbers, meeting targets. Even if you are struggling, they wish push you until you can't get back up. I wish I could get those few years of my life back - the years before I realized I could leave and do something else. Don't expect anyone to reach a helping hand to you (except for your colleagues, who are great). There is a serious lack of resources. They expect you to do 10 people's job. They force additional duties onto you without additional pay or title update. And I'm skipping many other negative facts. Do yourself a favour and find another occupation, if you are able to do so.

Pros

Flexibility - hybrid work were you can choose your 2 or 3 days to come into office. Though this is a downgrade from when I was originally hired. (See cons) Open ended workflow that you can tailor to your preferences. Lots to learn and potentially room to grow. Good team members and some excellent managers.

Cons

Reduced Flexibility - The job was fully remote during pandemic but have recently forced a return to office in hybrid capacity. Not much reason for this role to be in office so it’s caused a lot of friction. Many people left because of this mandate and we are now scrambling to hire due to being understaffed. Lack of training and job resources - No written standard operating procedures available. No standardized training. Few if any job aids exist. It should be noted that they are currently trying to fix this but without a training department it has been a very slow process. Workload - most departments are understaffed but new clients keep being brought in. There is clearly too much work for the number of people working. This has become a larger issue recently as they have starting blaming our predicament on our productivity. Productivity requirements - the goal posts keep being moved back by senior management. Targets keep going up even though most associates are nowhere close to the old ones. No consideration given to other work and responsibilities that are thrust on us. Expectation is to just get everything done regardless of time considerations.
