AVOID - High turnover, low pay, toxic culture

Cons

Extremely high turnover – people are leaving nearly every week. Long hours and overtime are constantly expected, with no real work-life balance. Overtime is only “given back” if it’s on weekends, which defeats the purpose. Pay is low for the workload and responsibilities. Very few benefits compared to industry standards. Senior management are detached, show little care for staff, and face no accountability. Feedback is dismissed or pushed back onto employees rather than being acted upon. Overall toxic environment where people are overworked and undervalued.

Cold and judgemental environment from moment I set foot in the building. Dismissive of complaints of too big a work load and would repeatedly blame you for poor time management despite you working overtime with no time in lieu or financial compensation. No time in lieu or financial compensation with events/late night photocalls either. Huge turnover in staff with multiple members leaving a team within a year. A real lack of empathy and care for junior staff, where they encourage you to be tired and wrecked at the end of each day - that's not a healthy work life balance to be promoted.
