Stagnant Culture, Poor Pay, and Lack of Real Leadership

Over the past few years, there has been little visible progress despite repeated promises of change. Initiatives around collaboration, diversity, and inclusion often feel more performative than meaningful, with departments appearing to focus on ticking boxes rather than driving real improvements. Additionally, ongoing discussions about office moves for well over a year without clear updates have created uncertainty for employees. There is a noticeable lack of progression within the organization, with many senior staff having remained in the same roles for 20+ years and appearing resistant to change or new ideas. HR support feels largely absent and often lacks clarity on basic processes, with even simple employment law practices not consistently applied at WR. Overall, the workplace culture is poor, with reports of bullying behavior not being adequately addressed. Again it’s just tick boxes and percentages.
