It is difficult to work alone when volume of patients is high. My ability to work on my own has its downfalls as I am managing a roster of over 20 healthcare professionals in addition to staff. Training staff members to delegate work as I have been doing for the last four years has been difficult.

-high turnover -despite the high turnover, there are a select few employees who have been there for ages but are entirely stuck in their ways and refuse to embrace change or new ideas -pay freezes - full of untalented, unmotivated people who find their way to work around the system and upper management tends to ignore this problem -very little communication and guidance from upper management -most toxic and negative environment in which I've ever worked; very gossipy and cliquey culture -communication between people/departments can be very secretive and competitive -not a lot of concrete policies in place or if there are, then there isn't much agreement on what they are -have to work holidays; little time off -fitness/wellness company that allows employees to smoke a few feet outside of the building (smoke smell is constant) -extremely micro-management and inexperienced upper and mid- management, especially marketing department
