You learn a lot about the business. It is a small firm so you get to do various tasks.
You get to travel and go to sourcing trip and furniture shows, nationally and internationally.
Cons
Not a great environment to work. Vacation time is a touchy subject for the owners, who never seem to take one.
You are expected to work overtime, weekends and holidays. There is no flexibility with working hours/ days… This is a very NYC mentality firm, in Jackson Hole WY, which creates a lot of friction between the owners and the employees.
Lots of great Design opportunities, travel. Great staff.
Cons
Training was rushed, multiple systems for the same task. To be fair, they were working at refining and eliminating systems. High sales performance required.
