Amazing people, management messy

Pros

The people you meet here are some of the greatest, most hardworking people in the world. I’ve made lifelong friends at this place.

Cons

Management is very messy. They will tell you one thing one day and the opposite the next. Their standards are different for everyone and a lot of the younger staff get taken advantage of (working crap hours, training). The pay is also horrible for a legacy station and the pay increases each year are laughable.

Pros

Great support from colleagues and middle-management that foster a good working environment.

Cons

Work/life balance can be tough for newsroom employees

Pros

A lot of experienced coworkers, decent resources, generally good work culture.

Cons

It's a big, corporate-owned station - you get what they give you. Not hard to get depressed about the content, everything's always a rush. That's how it is most places though.
