Pros

Lots of perks working for the NBA as a parent company.

Cons

Senior leadership has no idea what they are doing. Won’t fight for respect with other departments that treat employees in the W like crap. No summer fridays.

Pros

Small group so everyone is passionate.

Cons

Senior leadership has no idea what they are doing. Spend way too much money on things that aren’t going to grow the business. Hire people that have no idea what they are doing as not to be outshined. Have no backbone when it comes to defending the league with NBA employees that are assigned to work on parts of the WNBA business and refuse to put in the same effort they do for the NBA. They are rewarded for doing the bare minimum. They want to appear diverse and inclusive, but very well only make decisions with a “white is always right” mentality. There is zero growth, you will be in the same role your entire career if you stay there. PR needs an entire overhaul. Its old people that are completely out of touch with what its going to take to make the league grow and have zero connections with anyone in pop culture to get more exposure for the league and its incredible players. No Summer Fridays since the league runs in the Summer.
