Bad leadership

Recommend

Business outlook

Pros

No upfront pressure from management

Cons

Leadership sets weekly and monthly goals but even after doing everything asked you are expected to go above and beyond. No set PM schedules. No safety procedures. Nothing has been organized in the last 10 years. Operations and super on site have minimal to no leadership skills in the mechanical field. If you want to work here expect to do more then what is asked and know that management will say nice things upfront but will write negative things about you behind your back. As soon as I got another offer I left.

Great company to work for

Pros

Benefits are great compared to a lot of companies out there. The company is very stable. I have been working here for 10+ years, and everyone has always treated me fairly and with respect. Many people at Meadows have been working here for 30+ years, which says a lot. They treat their employees like family.

Cons

At the corporate office in Hampshire, it's strictly collared shirt and tie, no exceptions. I don't like ties... There is also very limited ability to work from home, which kind of stinks.
