I have been working at Visonic full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Acquisition by TYCO forces positive changes in all areas of the company and opening new markets for increased sales figures

    Cons

A few managers in key positions still resistant to change that have extremely outdated and questionable management styles that hinder progress that can otherwise be made in a much shorter time frame

    Advice to Management

    Refresh outdated managers

    Pros

most employees work for many years at Visonic

    Cons

the product management team went a drastic downgrade following the acquisition by Tyco.

    Advice to Management

If Visonic to stay innovative and technology leader you need to bring stronger product managers and let them be more independent in decision making

I have been working at Visonic full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Private medium size company with good technology and a lead in the market. Good potential for internal upward movement. Very nimble, solid and stable.

    Cons

Everything was good until the company was sold to a big American corporation. Things got stuck forever and nothing moved.

    Advice to Management

Try to have the technology innovation and willingness to have things done from the former Visonic culture integrated into your corporate culture.

    Pros

Stable company especially after been acquired by Tyco International, interesting prodcuts, a good place to expand professionally, has over the last 6 months seen a sharp increase in the number of people recruited into the company, nice people to work with, located in a very good area of Tel Aviv

    Cons

Known for offering reasonalbe but not high salaries

    Advice to Management

Salary is not in keeping with the market average - need to rethink
