Pros

Depending on whether store was High street or Tesco, all High streets are 7 days, some Tesco stores are 5 days, if you were in a small team in High street you were generally made to work every weekend while most managers took every other off.

Cons

Management as well as upper management didn't seem to care about shop floor staff, even after going to them regarding issues they would tell you they will see what they could do and then you would hear nothing for months.

Pros

Gaining knowledge by learning new skills

Cons

No training, high pressure on sales, not enough time between appointments for assistants as purchases aren’t taken into account, heavy admin work such as “why didn’t they purchase today?” Is a whole form that needs to be submitted, poor people skills in management, lack of welfare, low salary, pressure put on managers about budget, sales, etc and we don’t see any of it
