Pros
Great students, beautiful campus facilities, tuition discounts, and competitive salaries. Support staff are the most genuine people and work the hardest.
Cons
If you are in a support position, don't think about trying to move up. Staff only see you in the role you are in and don't welcome too much change as far as promoting up, especially if they have someone else in mind (friends, family, other staff). Work-life balance is basically only for salaried employees. Very political and cliquey; a lot of the senior staff are friends outside of work, which causes dissension and low morale among those not a part of the "in crowd." Benefits are pricey and the faculty are sometimes under appreciated.
