    Pros

I have had many opportunities to be involved in many diverse projects within my area of functional expertise.

    Cons

Ventyx operates globally, but the center of the Ventyx universe is very clearly Atlanta - other locations get forgotten regularly.

    I worked at Ventyx full-time

    Pros

You can get "work-from-home" easily only if you are a good looking female. Package was good. Holidays is reasonable.

    Cons

Relatively low pay. Impossible to get job advancement if you are not the managers friend. Your knowledge will get diminished/out-dated in 5 years and that is why you can only 2% salary adjustment each year. Good new opportunity always goes to manager's friend who are either female or willing to hang out with him.. ie the company has no rules or ideas on how to allocate resources. This is not a place for a technical employee to stay. The whole IT department is controlled by old people using old technologies and methodologies to run a looks-complicated but actually relatively simple system. If you are a skilled person, you need to cover up the jobs from others who are the friends of the manager(s). As a result, in this company you can find some employees doing 2-3 peoples jobs in the meantime others are working happily 5 hours work a day.

I have been working at Ventyx full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Free donuts on Friday and coffee

    Cons

    1. too many levels of management. Most people are managing people than doing the real work. The people who do the real work have been let go. 2. Sinking. less and less customers 3. We are still losing money 4. Hiring some people, spend money to teach to them and get them into culture, then let them go. 5. 1 people is doing 3 people's work. 6. Use a woman as a man; use a man as a slave 7. no career development. It is just a job to feed your family. Don't think about your future career since this company won't last too long 8. Put the wrong people on the wrong position to do the wrong jobs 9. Architects screw up the whole tech parts. They mislead the edge technology. 10. PM failed to introduce any creative ideas.

I have been working at Ventyx full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Lots of opportunities in a global company if you like politics and know how to play the game.

    Cons

Bullying, unprofessional behavior is not only tolerated from the VP level down its encouraged and rewarded. Managers are too busy protecting their position and building a power base to set a direction for the company or show any real leadership.
