VeeFriends is the textbook definition of a mismanaged startup. Leadership is erratic, decisions are made on whims, and there is a dangerous lack of professional oversight. The person calling the shots is woefully inexperienced and it shows through constant pivots, unrealistic goals, and absolutely no strategic direction. They eliminated HR entirely and handed those responsibilities to the President and EVP, neither of whom are remotely qualified to manage people operations. It is a blatant conflict of interest that leaves employees with nowhere to turn when problems arise. The live commerce team is allowed to run unchecked and treat others with open disrespect, creating a hostile work environment. Leadership enables toxic behavior, and anyone who speaks up is pushed out or ignored. There is no respect for employee time, no career development, and no accountability from those at the top. Burnout is rampant, morale is nonexistent, and the writing is on the wall. This company is not going to last.

Cynical and weak brand that lacks broad appeal. I don't understand who the target market is for veefriends, with the perpetually small audience and low interest being a staple of the company. Consistently hundreds of man hours dedicated to selling a product that will gross 10000 usd over its lifetime. "Startup culture" is no excuse for being disorganized. Some decision makers will make crucial and time-consuming mistakes and enjoy a good night's sleep, and everyone else will pick up the pieces.
