Pros
Varick operates on a different model than most sales organizations. It has an internal planning department, an accounts team and a trading desk. This means you get your proposals built for you, have your campaigns managed and get the back end technical support to find success for clients. Management was readily available to hear ideas for doing things differently, was actively seeking feedback on peers and processes, and was working constantly to evolve the offering. In terms of "the right person", Varick fits well with those who have self leadership skills. Its a small place meaning its easy to meet everyone, the people are absolutely the nicest, and the partner portfolio gives you a lot to work with (as a seller).
Cons
This is a medium sized company so if you're used to working in a monolithic corporate machine where you can underperform and hide for years until someone notices...then this place isn't for you.
