Pros

The only pro at the time of joining was that it had a good name.

Cons

This list won't end so i will get to the main cons which are those heading the organisation. Archna Shukla, who is the worst editor anyone can have the misfortune to work with and Neeta Kapoor, the most clueless CEO who thinks she's running a PR firm instead of a news media organisation. While Archana's sole purpose is to plan and plot against her employees her need to do so stems from her terribly insecurities as an editor. Let alone the fact that she is a horrible journalist she knows deep down that she has no knowledge of the field and always feels others are onto her. Her main Modus Operandi is to call people individually to her cabin and instigate one against the other. Her desperation reeks of her own insecurities. The only persons running the place without whom it would fall like a pack of cards are Vivek and Sumit. The whole office knows she knows nothing, can barely type her own mails replete with grammatical errors. It's a miracle she made it to such a position, how she even got this role despite the fact that she was asked to leave from Mint, is beyond anyone's comprehension.

Pros

Hard to find a pro for this company

Cons

VCCircle is one of the worst companies in the research and media field. The CEO and his right hand CBO (both ex-IDC) are running a duopoly in the name of leadership. The CEO came across as an extremely egoistic person in the interview. The company has no vision and growth plan. People working here are extremely unsatisfied and that is fairly evident in the reviews and ratings of the company. Because of this, they are unable to find good talent in the market because no one wants to drown their careers. The name-sake research team isn't worthy to be called a team since it has only 1 person who too is an ex-IDC. The growth numbers all *seem* to be inflated and the 2-3 good reviews in Glassdoor are all fake.

Pros

There used to be many pros. In the last 2 years all of them have disappeared thanks to petty thinking, incompetence and self serving attitude of the CEO

Cons

Toxic atmosphere where for the last 2 years many sincere, loyal, hard working and very competent employees have been asked to leave to save the CEO and CBO's jobs as they have no clue how to run this company and anyone who cares about the company and voices their concern is asked to leave immediately. The company prides itself on expelling good people. Almost everyone who was good has either left or been asked to leave and now only the most incompetent people who are licking up to the CEO are left behind. They have been looking to hire Sales people for the last 1 and a half years and no one good is willing to join the company. Many people have taken offers but when they found out the ugly truth about the company, they refused to join. If you join, you will be asked to leave within 8-10 months as and when they need to blame someone to save their own jobs. It is a case study for how not to run a company. Some poor people who are still stuck there are desperately looking for jobs and leave the office crying everyday. The editors have become puppets after the Chief Editor was forced to leave. They have no choice but to do what they are told and keep quiet about it even if they don't believe in it. People are being forced to write positive glass door reviews and those are the only 2-3 positive reviews you will see written by poor people against their will. People have also been told if they write negative reviews on glass door, their identities will be revealed and they will have to suffer consequences. The leadership lacks the basic fundamentals of the business. The only little money that is coming in is from what they call custom events where you collect some CTOs, entertain them with good food, alcohol, music etc and try to sell IT products to them. It does not make any sense for a company like NewsCorp to do this kind of dubious business. There is no strategy here.
