There is one thing and one thing only that I have to add here and it is simply to help someone so they don’t have to go through what I did and be in medical debt.
I moved from Idaho to Florida for this job and I wasn’t even living there a week before I started to become extremely sick. Unconsciousness/dizziness, nausea to the point of not being able to eat, extreme fatigue (sleeping 14-16 hours a day), mind numbing headaches, brain fog, the list could go on. After 4 weeks of living here, I ended up in the hospital because it was clear that something was wrong and I wasn’t getting better. They diagnosed me with mold poisoning and a sinus infection. When I went home after the hospital, I looked up my closet with a flashlight and found my closet infested with mold. I pulled back my decorations on the walls and mold was growing. Our bathrooms were infested with mold, my office downstairs had black mold seeping out of the ceiling. My roommate complained about needing to pull her dresser out once every few weeks to spray treat the back because mold continued to grow, no matter what she did. My supervisors knew about this issue and never once did anything about it but turned it back on me, trying to convince me that I was reacting to the Red Tide and just needed to acclimate.
I have read many reviews on Glassdoor about past employees bashing old employers because they are salty for getting fired. This is not that, I had to quit my job because of how sick I was. No human should be subject to that and treated as if they are less than nothing.
So do yourself a favor and don’t work here, you will become very very sick and no one deserves that.
