Pros

good team and work ethics

Cons

its commission based, you waste a week in the form of training, some your trainers jump your pitch so that they can get paid, these were my main reasons to leave. Sales is not done in the office you are required to visit members of the public every day visiting around 80-100 people regardless of what the weather is like. The hours are from 10-8 not not typical hours. Most of the time you don't get back until half 8. I was there for about 2-3 weeks and left the company I was using my own earnings to work for the company. I decided to leave because this type of business will not work in the long run especially in the modern era. You have to earn in a proper way rather than commission.

Pros

School Team Environment Learning to interview people The working hours are 9am-11pm non-stop. If you go for holidays they will make you regret it or even kick you out.

Cons

I signed up for a Marketing Training program, every role they post is actually the same role as they offer one experience, one position: Door to Door Sales. This industry has died ages ago and only because they went to management and they are bored of knocking on doors they are looking for replacements. This means knock doors for them, get paid on commission only when you make a sale (about £20-£30) and pay your own petrol, travelling and food. People will even destroy your car, and no one cares. They will teach you how to be a salesperson which is useful, but not for this age and time. They are losing ground, thus, expanding to new countries without even speaking the language. People in England are bored and tired of people knocking on their door so you'll get a lot of swearing and negativity. They say it is 6-12 months, but, I have seen people in this role for 4 years and still knocking on doors to pay bills. No work/life balance AT ALL. You never see your partner, parents or friends as the only time you have free is to shower, sleep and repeat the day. You'll have to go to work in pain, with snow or even after surgery, to show them, you can sell no matter what. They call this "winning" the territory. If you don't they'll make you feel embarrassed in front of the whole office. I gave them the chance to grow within but they could not handle someone with the highest education. It is actually perfect for school drop-outs as they will hire ANYONE even if they play hard on you. They are only looking for: positive attitude, student mentality. To follow like an ant, never lead.

We would, however, like to take this opportunity to address a few points you made throughout your review. 1. You state that you ‘pay your own petrol, travelling and food’, please note that Uproar Vision operates a self-employed contract, we are under no obligation to pay expenses. 2. You state ‘They will teach you how to be a salesperson which is useful, but not for this age and time’, we would like to express how our industry is currently thriving and is showing no signs of slowing any time soon, we are eager to provide professionals with an opportunity in a sector that will survive the digital revolution. We are sorry that you felt this opportunity was not for you. However, we wish you every luck in your future endeavors. Regards, Uproar Vision
