* management has absolutely no idea what they are doing and it shows * multiple sudden redundancies, cost-cutting and psychotic leadership killed moral and caused a number of people to leave * limited career progression opportunities * domain is convoluted and not very exciting * tech stack is old, progress is slow and people are unmotivated * xp values now seen as optional * startup attitude/memes/geeky atmosphere mixed with Newscorp/corporate influences can literally give you whiplash

I feel very sad to have left what was once a really great place to work and leave a poor review. I feel at this stage it would be irresponsible not to leave a review that highlights chronic mismanagement, poor leadership and a culture that is disappearing before our eyes. It's no longer a fun or rewarding place to work - professionally or personally. Maybe it will get better in the future (and this could even happen quite quickly) but right now I couldn't recommend working here.
