Pros

Opportunities for international travel and exposure to a global market. The HR tech space itself is engaging and fast-evolving, with a strong external community and industry network. In earlier years, benefits such as unlimited holiday were meaningful perks. Over time, I had the opportunity to work alongside many talented, thoughtful, and genuinely kind professionals.

Cons

Compensation was far from ample relative to the level of responsibility and impact expected, and the culture relies heavily on individual contributors without consistently recognizing or rewarding innovation and measurable results. For example, some deals were not commission-based, and despite developing & building a project that generated significant revenue, no bonuses were provided, ever. The organization frequently shifts direction without being backed by clear data or strategic rationale, resulting in work being undone and rebuilt repeatedly. There is a clear issue with correctly identifying and committing to the right business priorities, leading to reactive decision-making and eroding trust internally. Despite being in a growth stage, the company often operates with the rigidity and bureaucracy of a corporation, which results in slow decision-making and limits agility (which is critical for growth). This creates inefficiencies, reduces momentum, and makes it difficult to execute quickly in a competitive, ever changing environment. Overall, the culture seems to be more focused on managing internal dynamics than on being a high-performing, aligned, and execution-driven team.

Extremely high staff turnover; poorly managed business.

Pros

Decent salary, lots of promise initially. Remote first culture.

Cons

Over 50% of employees left the company over the past year. There is an exit almost weekly. Professes to create events about talent and employee experience, but wouldn't know what that meant if it hit them in the face. Clueless senior leadership act like rabbits in headlights and abandon strategy in favour of being reactive, taking bizarre decisions on a whim that slow the whole company down. If you want honesty, transparency, and the ability to have authority over your own projects; even at a senior level, this is not the right place for you. Advertises an open vacation policy that does not exist. It's 25 days leave a year. Doesn't invest in team days that are important as a remote first company. Not inclusive.
