I have been working at Tutor Bright part-time for more than a year

    Pros

An excellent way to make difference to the community in a role that offers a sense of purpose and personal fulfillment. Rate of pay is competitive to industry standard if not slightly higher. Management is supportive, communicative and responds to questions in a timely fashion. Provides plenty of resources so it's easy create a plan for your tutoring session. No heavy administration or paperwork and the company pays on time - always. Adapting to industry change - Company was able to shift to an easy to use online platform and gave training and support to tutors and families, making the transition near seamless.

    Cons

I work part time so there isn't any healthcare benefits, however the company does compensate for driving to student homes that are further than your designated zone.

I worked at Tutor Bright part-time for less than a year

    Pros

The team at TB were very understanding that I was a full time student. I was able to work all year with 2 students, and they understood that that was my maximum. Very flexible as well, they look out for you in terms of late cancellations from parents, etc.

    Cons

there were none - the pay ($20) is lower than some other companies or what you would earn private tutoring, but they do send you lots of worksheets/activities to do with your student so you save time on that front.
