TubeScience has been by far the worst job I've ever had. And that's including a job where I was paid minimum wage and the boss yelled at employees in front of everyone multiple times. I would not recommend working at TubeScience, even if you are desperate for a job. Company leadership is completely out of touch and unfeeling towards employees. I'm pretty sure they lament that their employees aren't robots. They only help their favorites get ahead, often promoting them well above their capabilities. They routinely blamed us lowly employees for company problems, openly said abusive things to us, and then wondered why we weren't happy with them. "You're replaceable." "Your video is the worst video I've ever seen." "So and so [other employee] is doing much better than you." These are just a few things from company leadership that you might hear if you work at TubeScience. I had more stress-related health issues while working there than any other job I've had, and it's not because the job tasks were difficult, it's because of the way we were treated. (The job tasks themselves were easier than high school homework.) If I had a time machine, I would go back in time and tell myself not to work there. A lot of reviews say they treat people from elite colleges better than everyone else and that does seem to be true, but they also treat many employees from elite colleges terribly. So do not make the mistake of thinking you might be an exception and have a great experience if you went to an elite school. Especially if you are from an elite school, you can do much better and you can give your valuable time and labor to a more worthy company. No matter what your background is, if you do for some reason start working there, I recommend immediately looking for something else and leaving ASAP.
