Clunky startup that missed the boat

Pros

Good place to get your hands into multiple pies and gain some experience in the SaaS space, provided you have incredibly thick skin, and are okay working toward continually moving targets. Decent work/life balance, and work-from-home Fridays (prior to COVID) were nice. Most people are fun to work with

Cons

Really all over the place as an organization, from goal-setting to internal communication. "Strategies" change drastically quarter over quarter and company lacks accountable leadership, particularly at the highest rung. In many ways, company is far behind the market, so selling the product is challenging, even for the most seasoned of salespeople. Unrealistic goals set for company growth and lots of micromanaging results in high turnover of talented people. Pay scale across most teams is also well below industry average.

Start-up with challenging environment

Pros

Mobile data is a relevant topic and company was built on a good foundation. There were a handful of really nice people there. Family values were good and they were very respectful of work/life balance.

Cons

Unrealistic expectations created a frustrating environment. Product delays and lack of support made it difficult to go to market effectively. Teams were not as collaborative and respectful of each other as they could be to foster more positive outcomes.
