Days can be loooong. Scheduler is very last minute sometimes, especially if you don't live near Boston or Central CT. I had jobs assigned well after hours, sending me ~3-4H away many times. This meant at 9-10PM I would find out I had to get up at 2-3AM in order to get to the jobsite by 8AM. I would stay until the job is done (expected 5PM, if possible) then get home by 8-9PM. The largest obstacle I had was that everything related to 24 technicians was piped through one over-worked scheduler, which made it very difficult to get office help in a timely fashion.

The collections department utilizes strictly temps, promises temp to perm, but in the time I was there only 1 person went permanent, and they went through 8 people. I would liken the job to the kind of telemarketing mills from the 80s. Constantly moving people's geographic area (for calling clients) and disrupting rapport built up with clients.
