Pros

- Creative good projects with excellent clients - Seemingly cool people to work with

Cons

- Their actions are not true to their words - They pretend that everything is fine, while it's not. - They claim to be a remote/hybrid company, while they are not. You are expected to work from an office / remote-site for more than 8 hours. - The management lies. - The manager lacks a spine and will not give you honest feedback and would not put down his expectations.

Pros

Wonderful work and people culture Great ambiance to work in and collaborate True desire to evolve in the care to team members

Cons

The virtual/hybrid culture is not yet defined as well as how the team culture needs to adjust and strengthen differently.

Toxic as hell

Pros

Infinite nothingness, none, nada, zero.

Cons

This is the most toxic working environment I've ever seen. There is an inner circle culture at the top of the company. Upper management is totally unexperienced and is all fake. They're professional bullshiters. Senior staff members that have been with the company for years were leaving about one per month. Retention of new hires was less than 2 years. Upper management were fighting pay raise to their loyal long-time employees who had the know-how, but were giving the same salary to new hires with much less experiences. They give higher bonuses to the staff that embraces that b.s. culture than to the staff that work their a** to deliver production on deadlines. While I was there, they were transitioning from a 30 employees team to 50 employees team, but there had been 25 resignations from the 30 original employees and 15 from the new hires that lasted less than 2 years. So basically, out of the 50 employees, 5 were original long time employees, and the rest of them were new with less than 2 years at the place. Career opportunities are none, the Montreal office is just a puppet for the LA office. Inner circle has the opportunities. They claim they have a great internal culture, very left, very inclusive, that they care about their staff, but upper management is super right-wing in their decision and do not care about the staff. The inner circle staff do not work more than 40 hours a week, while the rest are overloaded by ridiculous management decisions and work 50+ hours a week. It even feels like they work even less than 40 hours, they don't get anything done. Decision making takes forever, it feels like a bureaucratic nightmare like working at the goverment. Employees go in burnouts over and over again. Also they do not respect the French language, all internal meetings within the Montreal office switched to English because one new hire was solely anglo.
