I worked at The Judge Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Their goals and missions are clear cut. The Judge Group shows you exactly how to obtain your goals by being very transparent with metrics and expectations. The culture is fun and very "work-hard, play-hard".

    Cons

there are certain people in designated leadership roles who are absolutely not leaders. It is very apparent that the people at the top only look out for themselves and their financial gain instead of investing in their teams and making their entire office successful.

    Advice to Management

Don't promote people who are unfit to be a true leader.

I worked at The Judge Group full-time

    Pros

I really enjoyed working with all the people in my office.

    Cons

Strict working hours, 8-6 every day with no flexibility. If you leave early for a doctors appointment, etc expect to come in early the next day.
No culture. Just work work work. All that matters is getting your next hit.
You can make money but you can't grow your career here.

    Advice to Management

Take care of your employees, don't see them only as recruiting/selling robots.

    Pros

    Supportive management, good reputation
    Family culture.
High earning potential if you put in the effort and time.
    Good database of talent

    Cons

The benefits are expensive. Extremely expensive PPO plan so you are pretty much forced to take the more affordable option which is a high deductible plan so your out of pocket is still high.
    No 401k match.

    Advice to Management

    Negotiate better benefits!

I worked at The Judge Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    -Office mates were cool
-Sometimes there would be office happy hours
    -Learn basic sales skills

    Cons

-Incredibly long hours (7a-7p most days), no work/life balance as the managers essentially required you to work way beyond hours in the office
-Could not take time off without getting scolded by managers. You fear for your job if you take even a long weekend away. There are laws against this and I would not be surprised if someone were to file labor complaints against this company one day as some managers did not approve time off requests simply because someone wasn't "hitting their numbers." Again, there are employment laws against this.
    -Commission vs draw
-Upper management are micromanagers who want to know every phone call you make, how many phone calls you make, always want to know what you're doing.
-Culture is family oriented but unless you are part of that Judge family clique, you will not be advancing your career into the executive levels of the company.
-Promotions are based on how much money you make. A "Director" or "EVP", etc is just a fancy way of saying "I've billed more than you." Essentially, you're still a recruiter/account manager.

    Advice to Management

Bone up on some employment laws, lighten up on some of the hours, and you can put together a company where people will be flocking to work. Right now, it's an entry level job for a college grad, a placeholder for someone else.
