I have been working at The Judge Group full-time

    Pros

    - Good work environment with fun people and managers

    - Upper management has clear goals and is actively working towards achieving them

    - Opportunity for growth, though you might have to relocate

    - Solid training program in-place

    - Chance to learn from managers and coworkers who have been in the industry for a long time

    - Two company trips a year if you hit your numbers

    - Some schedule flexibility (within reason)

    Cons

    Benefits are pretty terrible:
    No 401k match
    Expensive health insurance
    Limited vacation & personal days
    Salary is below industry average

Hours can be long, but gotta do what you gotta do to hit your numbers

    Advice to Management

Do the right thing and offer a 401k match and decent affordable health insurance.

    Pros

A great company to work for in all honestly. Training was amazing they really took time and made sure you understood what you were doing for people joining the company at all levels. They even bring new recruiters and sales people from all over the country once or twice a year for another training seminar in their beautiful corporate office. In addition they provide you with a mentor and give you mentor meetings which are very helpful. My team consisted of some of the most down to earth and caring individuals I have ever met. My manager was a true inspiration. He always looked out for his team and genuinely cared about his employees lives and well being. Everyone outside of my team was super friendly and welcoming as well. Upper management was a pleasure. And they truly cared about all employees. I learned a lot from Judge and was sad to leave.

    Cons

When I joined Judge I was an entry level recruiter with absolutely no experience because of this my salary was (understandably) very low. I had to move on from the company in order to keep up with my bills.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you are doing because it clearly works but the only way to retain employees is to pay a little bit more.

I worked at The Judge Group full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

There was three of us in the office so morale between us was good.

I got to bring my son to the office when I needed to.

    Cons

Insurance is not affordable even for one person much less a family

There is only 5 days to use for vacation or sick or anything else and you can only make up one hour per week if you have to miss.

Your stuck doing work for other offices

Your reporting manager is on the other side of the US

    Advice to Management

Think about your employees as people and not things

I worked at The Judge Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Flexible schedule (sort of), great training program, exposure to upper management, very autonomous. Laid-back culture.

    Cons

Mornings meetings are pointless, repetitive every day. Sales team is never there to promote their jobs. Recruiters are seen as chump change or second-class. Hiring has slowed drastically for this branch. Director/VP are unwilling to adapt and/or ignorant to the fact that people are leaving because of them.

    Advice to Management

Change it up, do something different, in 2 years not one things about the morning meeting changed except that people got less engaged and quieter.

Also to senior members of Dallas office - BE PRESENT. Your employees aren't motivated to work when they see you gone all the time or always at happy hour.

Stop partying - start managing, respect recruiters as much as "sales" and stop the bleeding of this office.
