I worked at The Judge Group full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Okay, so first let me start off by saying I read all of the other reviews and comments which is why I felt the need to write a real and true review about the Judge Group. After reading the negative comments and reviews that were posted it became very clear to me that most of them are absolutely not true at all and probably coming from disgruntled ex-employees who were lazy that didn’t want to work and just trying to damage Judge’s good reputation.
I worked for 3 other companies before I worked at Judge as a Recruiter. I worked there for 4 years and honestly loved every second of it before having to leave earlier this year to move back home for family health reasons. Sure, like all companies there were a few minor things I thought could be better (see my cons) but there are no companies that are perfect – although Judge was pretty close.
The work culture at Judge was amazing and makes you feel like you’re part of a family that supports you, but more importantly recognizes and appreciates your hard work. They provide all the recruiters and sales with the latest technology/tools, guidance and training that you need to make great money and an opportunity to advance your career there. Work hard, play harder couldn’t be more true at Judge. They offer great compensation and bonus incentives, positive recognition for your hard work, and career advancement opportunities. But the best perk of all at Judge, is the two (yes 2), all-inclusive company-wide vacations they do every year (spring & winter) at the best five-star resorts in Caribbean islands, Mexico coast, Hawaii, etc. plus they allow you to take a quest (all paid for)!

    Cons

Not having a “company match” with the employee 401K plans.
No company equity-based plans or incentive.
Not having a full deli onsite or a food catering service so staff didn’t have to drive to get food. Granted, there was a Wegmans food market and restaurants a few blocks away but I would rather have the option of food onsite.
    No gym onsite to workout.

    Advice to Management

Thanks for the amazing opportunity and experience I retained at Judge!

I worked at The Judge Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    * Company culture.

    * Huge opportunity to make a lot of money if you put the work in and stay focused. Aka “Work Hard | Play Hard” environment.

    * You’re in control of your own paycheck.

    * Perks - Bi-annual trips to resorts.

    * Irvine office is run by a Director who posses all the qualities a great leader should have: Motivating, inspiring, passionate, and encourages growth.

I truly loved working at the Irvine office! It’s an extremely rewarding and exciting career.

    Cons

You have to work hard. But that’s the nature of the recruiting industry. And why wouldn’t you work hard?!

There can be a lot of positives and negatives all in one day. You deal with unexpected problems, but you have to know what the negatives are and form successful strategies to deal with them. And of course stay positive!

    Advice to Management

    Keep doing what you’re doing

I have been working at The Judge Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Judge is a great company with a lot of opportunity. If you have good work ethic, persistence, tenacity and the ability to network; you will do well at Judge.

    Cons

The biggest con at Judge is their benefits. I cover my family (Wife and 2 small children) and pay $632 per month ($7,584 per year) for benefits that have a $6,000 deduction. My wife and I just had a baby, which means I am paying $13,584 before I am even covered. The company likes to believe that the atmosphere of Judge is "family-like" or that "we are all family". If that is true, ask yourself if you would cover your family with the above plan.

    Advice to Management

Please invest in better benefits. The employees of Judge deserve way better.

I have been working at The Judge Group full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    - Opportunity to make a higher gross income (from commissions) early on in career

    Cons

    - Long hours, constant pressure by upper management to work 50+ hours per week
    - No paid maternity/paternity leave (it's 2017)
    - No employer 401K match
    - Expensive health benefits
    - Little room for professional growth
    - Quality of employees (people constantly make degrading comments towards minorities, women, and the LGBT community - including Managers/Management)

    Advice to Management

It is hard to feel that you are appreciated by a Company that seems to be constantly looking for ways to decrease employee welfare. Upper management is constantly pushing Recruiting Managers to have their teams stay later. When Trump took office and vetoed the FLSA changes (requiring employees to pay overtime to employees making less than ~45,000) the Company President sent out an email titled "Very Good News!". There is no paid maternity or paternity leave - it's 2017.
