Pros

Friendly parents, meet great kids with so much potential and you learn the very basics of ABA

Cons

Racial Favouritism, zero work life balance, only work here if you want to feel like a slave. They hire unqualified people…literally your children will be put in the hands of people who have zero qualification and are only hired because they are the same race as the owners. All the senior therapist…terribly rude, no empathy or regard for the other therapists. They will give you on the spot quizzes on ABA material that was never taught or used in the center. Please dont work here. It is not it! Dont even bother applying even if your desperate. Not worth it. You will go home everyday contemplating your whole life. They have big house, fancy center…only care about the money, there’s barely a staff room for the staff to have a break. They just dont care. Summer camp is ran so badly. Causing more harm than good. TOXIC energy.

Pros

Pro: the kids are beautiful and parents are really considerate and concerned.

Cons

Cons: Pathetic management The management is pathetic, they hire people who speak the same language as them and know nothing about ABA. None of it ever made sense to me. Lack of respect There is no respect for the staff working in the frontline, they are looked down on and forced to feel like they are not employees but slaves. There isn’t a proper space or room to take a break in and have lunch. Not even hangers/lockers for staff to keep their stuff. All the management wants is money. They are actually minting money out of adversity. No training or certification The management is slow and sluggish, they do not want to provide any behaviour management training to the employees and have created an environment where it is normal to get hit by the clients. No one deserves to be afraid of going to work and walking into a place where they get smacked in the face for just doing their job. No accommodation provided. No paid sick days. Disobeying the regulations of the BACB They use punishment and reprimand all the time, thereby going against the guidelines of the board. Very unethical. Terrible leadership They are all a part of one big family that ruins the work culture and employees’ morale. You’d want to reach out to them or the HR for some issue but none of your queries would be anonymous and you will go through the highest level of gaslighting. The supervisor and the director are extremely rude and biased making it uncomfortable for everyone.

Pros

the kids are cute and fun

Cons

-company is full of nepotism- most of them have no idea what they're doing, and only got the job due to being related to the ceo (director is a huge example of this) -management talks down to staff (probably due to the nepotism and no consequences for them) -not guaranteed full time hours (they will cut your hours with no warning) -no breaks in between session (i was under the impression that we were entitled to 15 min breaks) -hectic teaching environment -they dont direct deposit pay, which may not seem like a big deal, but when you're away on pay week and unable to get your paycheque when your bills need to be paid, it's not very convenient -no perks for employees, they barely even have space for us to eat lunch (most people eat in classrooms, i ate in my car) plus no place to put your stuff (i was told to put my purse on the hooks with the kids stuff) -no sick time -management all speak spanish and will speak the language with employees who also speak it (personally made me uncomfortable and felt like i was being spoken about in a negative way)
