As a Software Engineer & Tech Coach, I got to design, write and deliver curricula for programmes end-to-end, with plenty of autonomy and ownership. I would say the coaching roles would suit self-starters and those more established in their skillset. There is also opportunity to support on the programme delivery and make recommendations too. - I was well-supported by my manager, who listened to my needs and provided me with expert coaching on a human-level which I didn't get anywhere else. - The technology team is made up of highly-talented people who are friendly and a really good laugh too! - I felt like I made a big impact through coaching on the programmes such as the Your Return to Tech Programme and the DevOps Upskill Programme. I was able to hone in my skills in technology by coaching others.
