      Good research opportunity, poor oragnisation

      Pros

      plenty of time to work on PhD thesis freedom to choose research topic well payed good health insurance

      Cons

      work of researchers is not coordinated - everyone is working on his/her own topic no vision poor communication - management is only indirectly communicating with employees almost no support for your project - you have to do everything on your own people in leading positions are not qualified for their role

      Pros

      Great office and generally great work environment. Partly great colleagues with a diverse background. Promising new technical director!

      Cons

      The whole concept for phase 2 feels incomplete and the work focus many teams does not match with the overall objective. Mismanagement in phase 1 has trigger the National Research Foundation (NRF), which is funding TUM Create, to cut the travel budget and welfare addons. Teams are hardly cooperating with each other and you must be lucky to see your work implemented in a greater context. Many professors that are involved with the project seem more interested to push their own projects. Lack of Singapore nationals in the team.
