Pros

- Wide breadth of clients + industries - Upward mobility - Office has great patios

Cons

So many more cons than pros. Where to begin? - High-pressure, high-stress environment that never stops - Long hours, ridiculous expectations - High client turnover - High staff turnover - Young, inexperienced management due to pressure to grow - Lack of respect for the creative team - Unrealistic timelines promised to clients often without consulting copywriters or designers - Management promises change but doesn't follow through

Great learning opportunities but expect long hours

Pros

- Impact is measurable. End-to-end project means you'll get to work with C-suite and VP level people, which means great learning opportunities. - Working style is collaborative. Strong Slack culture. Teammates are smart and highly responsive. Questions are encouraged. - Nature of the work itself is strategic and data-driven. You'll get to use first-principles thinking and use first-hand business data to support your strategies. - If you're into e-commerce and beauty, the work may be extra exciting because you may get to see what goes on behind the scenes of popular consumer brands. - Good reward if you demonstrate ownership. It's a boutique agency, and overall there is a tendency for meritocracy.

Cons

- Hours can be long during busy times. - Ownership & responsibilities are sometimes unclear given everything is shared work across multiple people. - You'll deal with lots of open-ended questions and requests from the client side so need to know how to work smart and when to push back. - Depending on staffing and clientele, clients can skew heavily toward the same industry (not really a con if your interests align with that industry). - HR can use some improvement, both on employee matters and prospective hiring.
