Little/no progression for the marketing team, with no fixed plan/structure put in place and lack of priority placed on personal growth and progression. While working there, it felt like there was a lack of respect for the marketing department; many of us are overworked, underpaid, and under a lot of stress. A few major changes which were brought up to senior management often did not come into effect, even after being promised so. At times, it feels like senior management cares more about making money and company success than their employees.

For the most part, StraightIn is a great place to work. That said, I would say there is a lack of internal structure both from an operations and HR perspective. The remuneration was also always a difficulty, both when talking about commission and getting deserved salary uplifts.
