Very disappointed after more than 15 years of dedicated service.

Pros

For the first 15 plus years hard work and dedication were rewarded. In a service environment there will always be challenges but teamwork was great for the most part.

Cons

New management has gone so top heavy they require low paying service people to support the upper levels. The career path was revamped to cap salaries to ensure people couldn't move up too quickly - not to help people advance. They don't follow their own procedures / HR policies even though they have a brand standards division that preaches Brand compliance. Tenured employees are forced to sign new agreements and are pressured to not have them properly looked over. These agreements limit compinsation and give the company greater power over the work environment. Before the monthly service commission quota was reduced in months you went on holidays. This changed, meaning when you go on holidays your pay for that month will be reduced by a few hundred. People who pick up the extra are not often compensated for the extra work. Work balance was always tough (could work weekends, days, nights) but compensation was always fair. Sometimes an extra day off, gift cards or team building events made up for it. These have mainly been removed and the work is no longer seen as extra. They have added strict protocols, GPS units in the vehicles and handhelds for all employees. The equipment is generally glitchy but mainly use to tack and monitor employees. It went from working to eliminate pests and being proactive to ensuring all the bar codes and paperwork is complete so as to not through up any flags. Pest elimination is no longer job 1 , it's now system manipulation. Generally it went from a great company where quality and service meant everything to one where profit is king and employees are disposable.

Pros

Great coworkers. Use technology really well. Is a fast growing company. Has good company values and a people first motto, but do not necessarily practice what they preach.

Cons

Horrible schedules, do not compensate well, long travel hours with no reward. Make you work 12 plus hours a day, but will still tell you that is not enough. Paint this rosy picture during the interview and OnBoarding! After 3 months it is all out the window and you become just a number! They have a process that rates specialists on their auditing skills called the FQA. It is a great way for them to pick on the nitty gritty and make you feel like a worthless auditor. Constructive feedback is great but do not forget about the positives. The two days of the FQA they focus on quality, the rest of the year you end up running around focusing on the quantity of work you do, with not enough compensation monetarily. Online courses need to be done every month, emails, expense reports, travel requests etc. None of this time is compensated for! You work all of this for an hour everyday, plus 6.5 hours auditing and atleast 2-4 hours of driving a day! God forbid you have a travel week scheduled! The only way you can still hope to make any bonus for the month is if you fly on the weekends on your own personal time.
