      They asked all employees to write a good review about stemgenex and read it out loud to our team. So if there are any good reviews about this company, its because we were forced to write them. The company is very secretive about the actual results of the patients, there is no more than 10% of improvement of the patients and the sales team are claiming 90%. We constantly had to lie to patients that the treatment will work just so they could hand over the money/deposit. There are numerous lawsuits that are always happening but you'll never hear them speak about it. Its unfortunate that these patients are being taken advantage of because they just want to get better and we are claiming that they will. There are a people who have been with the company for awhile and that gossip often and will make you feel uncomfortable. I've never felt so uncomfortable in a workplace.

      StemGenex regrets that a former employee felt compelled to post what we know is a factually inaccurate and vitriolic review. Other employees feel very differently, as shown in other reviews on this site and the esprit de corps we see in our offices every day. Regarding our clients, we prefer to let them speak for themselves about the health benefits they have experienced, which they do on our corporate website. We invite you to visit that website and to suspend judgement based on a single review that violates the Glassdoor guidelines of ‘stay balanced’ and ‘take the high road.

      Great vision, some growing to do

      Pros

      Very rewarding work, helping our patients is both heart-warming and motivating. The CEO is very generous, and Dr. Lallande (medical director) is as just as caring as he is intelligent. Also the location is beautiful with beach views from the office.

      Cons

      The company is very small with not enough employees for the tasks at hand. No HR department, but there is an "HR Manager" who is also the VP of operations, so the HR role takes a back seat. Because of this dual position, it is very difficult to covertly discuss concerns with an objective third party. Also there is a VERY high turnover rate.

      Pros

      The company offers the regular benefits and the office is situated within La Jolla and near good shopping stores and restaurants.

      Cons

      Pay is not close to being "competitive" and management has favoritisms which we can obviously see. We have a director who is very dramatic like as if everyday is the end of the world. We need a leader who has GREAT critical thinking skills and not all drama and always misinterpret everything, we lose good workers because of that.
