Management leaves you alone as long as you do your job Overtime Some pretty cool co-workers Most sites I worked were fairly uneventful VP of Operations was a good guy and good at his job Good place to gain experience and will help you get your guard card
Cons
Dealing with the worst aspects of the general public Pay and benefits Slow upward mobility They really need to hire more than one scheduler. I'm pretty sure that person was working 24/7. Inadequate training and didn't always provide post orders A LOT of incompetent people get hired as guards
