Pros

Clients and co-workers are friendly. They do hire estheticians with no experience which can be good for those just starting out.

Cons

30% commission on services heavily discounted for members. Most clients are members. “Mandatory” meetings are $12 an hour otherwise meetings and trainings are unpaid. In the month I worked here I attended 5 unpaid trainings (on my days off/ hours before my shift no less) and did not attend two trainings and this was the reason for my termination. One of these was a staff meeting so that one might have been paid, the other however was a product training which was I was told was optional when I took the job as it was unpaid and I would be choosing to be there. However I did not “show dedication” to my role due to not going in on my own, unpaid time. I was not trained on their protocols and consistently asked for them and was told they were in the process of being re-written. I asked questions on payroll/ tips and was told I would be showed later and never was. I often only got 1-2 appointments a day.
