Pros

- Close of Bart and Cal-train - Good Options for Lunch

Cons

- Senior Management is in-competent with credentials and experience from mediocre places - Middle and Seniror Management plays politics, bullying tactics with employees - Instead of Open communication, Managers rely on intimidation, back-stabbing and verbal abuse - Lot of in-competent and useless positions with 'Manager' and 'Director' in their title. - Senior and Middle mangers take care of their own benefit instead of company or department. - No one in the management has any clue about direction of company or industry or market - There are lot of great companies in bay area, if you like your career then dont work here

Avoid Like The Plague

Pros

--Decent work-life balance / work from home policy --Not much else

Cons

-- Almost all the work that goes on at Snapfish is done by an Indian outsourcing firm (engineering, product management, QA, customer service, even organizational consulting) and no one bats an eye about this and the huge conflict of interest / disincentive this introduces. Plus their quality of work is bottom of the barrel so most of what the SF based employees do on a daily basis is clean up the Indian teams' messes. If you're ok with doing that and serving as a glorified email sender, then Snapfish is the place for you!! -- The CEO (self-described "former" bully) came in with a new executive team of Chicago connects (most of whom travel back and forth on the company dime) and basically killed any momentum that Snapfish had going for it. What's left is a very tense atmosphere where most employees are either looking for new jobs or have basically given up and checked out. A truly awful workplace

Pros

I developed some nice friendships while I was there - over 6 years

Cons

Company completely changed during my tenure - from one that was "start up" mode - HP owned; to HP owned and their initiatives plugged in; to HP owning - not investing and trying to sell; To largest Vendor purchasing and you being told to do exactly and only what they want. It's a fun space - now way too crowded - and owner prints for the majority of the market.... lack of management - off site.
