Terrible working environment. No accountability for senior team members. HR is not helpful and the cause of a poor working environment.

Pros

Sentera has some of the most hardworking and mission-driven people I’ve had the pleasure of working with. The team responsible for the hardware side of the business—particularly sensing technologies—is creative, agile, and committed to solving real customer problems. Despite limited resources, we were able to bring new products to market and make a strong impact in a competitive space. The work environment was collaborative and supportive, and I felt trusted to lead and deliver.

Cons

Since its founding, the company’s strategic focus has increasingly shifted toward software, with comparatively fewer investments in the hardware business unit. While this may reflect long-term goals, it left hardware teams navigating tough constraints—even when clear market demand existed. Many talented team members were stretched across too many initiatives without the level of investment needed to scale impact. As a result, the path forward for the hardware division often felt uncertain, making long-term planning and a cohesive marketing strategy more difficult.
