An exciting company to work for with a clear mission
Pros
Great team members - the people who work here are the best. Everyone works hard and is passionate about their role in the company. There is great support between colleagues and a real sense of team work. The mission - the company has a clear mission to accelerate science. Not all of the roles in the company are scientific, but I think everyone understands how their specific role contributes to the company achieving its mission. Work-life balance - hybrid working options mean there is flexibility in how we work together. I appreciate being able to come into the office as much as I want for social and in person meetings, as well as having options to work from home for part of the week.
Cons
This is a past-paced publishing environment and in all honesty it doesn’t suit everyone. But, if you thrive under pressure, want to feel like you are contributing to a greater cause, and don’t like clock watching or being bored, this is an exciting place to work.
