Lots of clients and reliable pay. Lots of pitching options and smart match jobs you can claim without pitching. Steady work.

Cons

Miscommunication between project managers, clients, and writers can sometimes lead to rewrite requests. Some clients have unreasonable expectations like multiple revision rounds that go on for months for a piece that pays less than $100 and management allows clients this leeway.

Great way to learn how to freelance. Can be a confidence boost to help you get into the full time writing game.

Cons

Very rarely any work. You can usually pick up one or two gigs, but there is very rarely enough to make a living. The work takes a long time for very little pay.

Autonomy, flexible schedule, remote work, very young company

Cons

CEO is egotistical and messes with pay every chance he gets. Always wants to talk about personal things on company time. Thinks he's better than everyone. No one is paid fairly. We're given dept head roles and tons of extra responsibility but no increase in salary at all. Doesn't respect writers or editors and has an unhealthy obsession with AI. Legitimately running the company into the ground.
