I worked at Scania full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    Benefits are overall ok.

    Cons

Conservative, old fashioned, hierarchical and toxic work environment. Management is obsessed with thecontrol of their employees. On the same time, they do not share anything of their own initiatives and what are the strategies they are driving, not to mention that the clear results based on facts or numbers are not shared with the teams. Just words and vague qualitative analysis which gives the impression they do not...

    Advice to Management

Open your eyes and engage with all levels. Talk with your people. Do not take the whole information from a single channel. I have been working at Scania full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Large company with many possibilities. Many fun and cutting edge projects.

    Cons

Very low salary. Best (almost only) way to get decent pay is to become group manager or higher manager. Becoming a specialist in your field will never pay off.
