High turnover
Confused boundaries
Poor leadership and decision making
Bullying and discrimination
The leadership are always on the hard sell with values and purpose based on compassion and emotional arguments, but often have to make business decision based on reactivity and capitalist realities. The hypocrisy leaves a bitter taste in the mouth, and mislead expectations leave large sways of the business defeatist or burnt out, especially when they've stretched they're boundaries to meet targets in the name of purpose.
Bullying and discrimination is accepted within the business when individuals have influence within the sector or add strategic value.
I have seen a lot of the business in a perpetual state of overwhelm, working over contracted hours to actualise sweeping/reactive/emotional decisions made by leadership, resulting in periods of sickness, unplanned termination of contracts, and unnecessary risk.
