Pros

you can learn somthing from NTR and review files. That it! NTR is 95% review is 5%

Cons

if you join into hongkong group, you won't get fair treat. very low salary, long working day for every months, and limited opportunities to do audit and review engagements. The hongkong boss only prefer paper review, which means you must print out everything . additionally, you have to do a lot of administration things, because, that boss don't want to hire or use SLF 's admin. The other groups share the employeement regulations and rules, except hongkong group.

Pros

Nice offices. Individual offices for seniors and managers.

Cons

On boarding procedures for new employees horrible. Expect too much from new hires from the start.

Pros

Staff are ok. Office is located in a shopping centre right next to the station. Keurig machine for hot drinks. Work from home is pretty flexible. Summer hours to make up for busy season hours. Doesn't seem like the hiring standards are that high so it's not too hard to get a job here. If you get to work in audit pool, your experience may be better.

Cons

SLF does the bare minimum and unsurprisingly struggles to retain staff. It's completely common for people to come and go at least once a month. You are literally cheap labour to them because they will just hire your replacement if you leave. I've been here long enough and there have been zero company events. They did not even feed us during tax season even though some of us had to go to the office everyday doing min 50 hour weeks. If you are working under a Chinese partner, you will basically juggle 2 jobs doing admin and accounting (essentially technician-type) work because the partner doesn't want to learn and adapt to technology or hire the proper people. You will also not get to work with other partners. You will not get valuable experience and will need to mostly self-learn. You will be constantly chasing deadlines and the files will take forever to get reviewed.
