The Great Company that Lost Its Heart

Pros

RevTrak used to be a place where growth and development were encouraged. The management preached transparency and kindness, and it really was a kind, transparent place! We were busy, but usually not overworked. We were well-supported, taken care of, and celebrated as a team. I liked everyone I worked with and made some genuine friends. After coming from a harsh, political company that treated employees like dirt, Revtrak was a breath of fresh air. I learned so much and was able to advance in my career much faster than if I had been at another company.

Cons

Sadly, the pros I mentioned are no longer true. RevTrak was purchased in early 2018 and became Connexeo. The shift to new management got rid of all the trust I had in management. Nothing is communicated. Management likes to talk a lot but say nothing. People are laid off, but this isn't communicated to the company. Work for some departments has dried up. Management also likes to say that people aren't leaving because of the purchase. This is just untrue. The people there are fearful and stressed. It's also pretty clear that management doesn't understand the space. They have backgrounds in everything but school payments. Yet, they don't value the opinions of people who have worked in the space for a while. Additionally, the ethics have changed. This is a small thing, but management has written reviews for their own products to inflate their ratings. All over social media you see 5-star reviews. But, if you look closely, you see that most were written by a Connexeo or RevTrak employee. A lot of the "testimonial" quotes being shared were, as well. Maybe a minor thing, but that didn't fly in the old days. It's dishonest. This review would be one-star, but it's two-stars for the awesome people who still work there. If you want a team that will like and support you, there are good eggs at RevTrak. If you want a comfortable work environment with knowledgeable management you can trust, look elsewhere. I fully left because of the change in company culture and bad management. What a shame.

An Amazing Part of My Life

Pros

I worked for two managers in two different departments at RevTrak and thoroughly enjoyed my time with both teams and managers. RevTrak promotes a very open and light-hearted work environment that places a great amount of emphasis on "taking care of our own", which really makes for a positive workplace experience and the development of great friendships with coworkers. In addition to this, RevTrak also strives to help its employees grow as individuals in both their knowledge of and familiarity with the tools and processes they use each day and in their character. Both managers gave me ample opportunities to try out new ideas I had and tackle new projects, giving me encouragement and advice all along the way. This made me feel that my contributions really mattered and allowed me to learn a variety of new things. At the same time, RevTrak also takes its responsibility to its customers and clients very seriously and espouses an amazing work ethic that places a premium on being honest and treating customers and clients as people in every interaction. I felt proud of the work that I did, the responses I was encouraged to give, and the support I was allowed to provide, which isn't the norm when it comes to customer support. When the time came for me to start looking for a job closer to my family, I felt absolutely comfortable letting my supervisor know without fearing that this might jeopardize my position. My supervisor was very appreciative and encouraging throughout the entire process and offered really helpful advice regarding the job search process, moving, and so much more. I feel incredibly grateful that I worked at RevTrak for the time that I did and will miss everyone there. Additional Pros: - Friday Fun every other week where employees are allowed to participate in games and fun events; - Periodic catered lunches; - Fully stocked diner, snack closet, and fridges; - Receptivity to new ideas and suggestions regardless of your position; - Caring coworkers who show true concern about you and your family.

Cons

I can't really think of any.

A sad decline to a once great company

Pros

The coworkers who keep trudging in hoping it will go back to the company that used to foster career development in amazing ways. This company used to have countless amazing employees who had been with it for years and years. Sadly many of them including myself have left, after a year of it getting worse and worse and worse.

Cons

Revtrak was purchased early 2018 and quickly took a dive. We knew to expect chaos with this sort of transition and with Revtrak being truly one of the best companies to work for in Minnesota it was bound to be bumpy but we were generally excited for bigger and better things. What a disappointment. There is no vision, and people don’t matter. Revtrak has been gobbled up and it’s parent company has been gobbled up. It’s all money now and no heart.
