Pros

1. Paid time off and sick days amount is not bad. 2. Most co-workers are great to work with. However, they all want to leave.

Cons

1. Top heavy. Recommind is extremely top heavy, filled with managers, directors, VPs, and executives with questionable skills and minimum contribution. Yet the front line team who's actually managing cases and clients is stretched very thin due to turnover and layoffs. A boat with 20 captains but no oarsmen is not going anywhere. 2. Cogs in the machine. You are nothing but cogs in the machine to the eyes of these executives. You also are judged mainly by the amount billable hour you bill, and expected to meet a quota even though management keep denying it as a quota. 3. Egotistical Management. Management will use you for their benefit. They will make you work late or abnormal schedule, they will sell you bonus and raises, but you'll get none or 1% raise. They may even told you to do a job that you didn't originally sign up for. These people have high ego, and think very highly of themselves. One VP had his office enlarged, because another VP got a new office that is slightly larger than his. He ultimately took over a conference room as his office because he felt lonely at his old expanded office. One VP thought that it would be a great idea for one female employee to go to a client's office to cook them pancakes. He complained that one person who was about to go on paternity leave didn't divulge that he's expecting a child during the interview, hinting that he wouldn't have hired him if he knew. 4. Broke. The company is broke. They will scrutinize all expense and cost, layoff 20% of the workforce, yet continue to pay these useless executives. They wasted money on doubling the size of one of their offices even though they didn't need to. Half of that office has been empty for a year. 5. Not diverse. Look at the Management page of their website. Enough said. 6. No direction. 4 re-orgs and 2 layoffs (the last one on 9/15) within the last 2 years. The company changes strategies faster than Guy Fieri eats bacon.
