Pros

Compensation & Wealth Building Competitive commission structure with an 85/15 split and a reasonable cap (after which agents keep 100% of commissions) supports strong earning potential compared with many traditional brokerages. Multiple streams of long-term income through revenue share tiers, stock awards (pre-cap, capping, elite performance), and an opt-in stock program allow agents to build equity ownership in the company. Same-day commission deposits and modest E&O fees improve individual cash flow. Technology & Tools A modern, cloud-based tech stack (Ai-integrated ReZen dashboard, Real Signature digital workflows, Lofty/CRM, and Real Wallet financial tools) streamlines business operations. Significant updates coming for AiCRM, client-facing Ai portal for nurturing clients, etc. Real Wallet, Real Line of Canada (Canada), and Real Debit Card reward points (for USA agents) system adds a financial management layer agents can use to offset fees and reinvest in their business. Education & Community Real Academy, Real Rise, and hosted training/events provide robust education for all experience levels — from new agents to top producers. Courses span lead generation, digital marketing, negotiation, and business scaling. Active events and national agent sessions build community and support ‘learn from peers’ culture. Flexible Work Model Fully remote/cloud brokerage model eliminates costly desk fees and mandatory office attendance; ideal for self-directed agents. Private label options enable agents or teams to operate under their own brand while benefiting from Real’s infrastructure.

Cons

Cloud-First Nature Lack of physical office space can feel isolating, especially for newer agents or extroverted personalities who thrive on in-person interaction and mentorship or don't get involved in the group chats or live events. Agents must be self-motivated - this is a commission based role. Brand Maturity & Recognition In some markets, brand awareness still lags established legacy brokerages, potentially affecting referral momentum in certain communities. Administrative & Support Feedback Some variability in experiences with partner (third party) services. The remote model means new agents sometimes need to proactively seek mentorship rather than having it organically available. Program Complexity Wealth and incentive programs (revenue share, stock vesting, tiers, wallet points) are valuable but complex to navigate — agents may need time to fully understand and optimize them. Very High Production Level Required for Company Recognition Company only recognizes the highest achievers on monthly and annual basis. Very different from local franchise-based offices that recognize more agents, as well as national-level firms that give out more awards.
