Pros

There is no pressure in the work and anyone can learn the work very easily and become a pro in their work. Employees will get benefits as per the performance. Good for a fresher.

Cons

Routine work and No increment in salary with experience.

Pros

Sense of security of govt. job if you get confirmed and truly speaking nothing else.

Cons

Before joining this PSU talk to its new employees in regional offices & corporate office and then take honest decision. a. HR policy framed not as per the Govt. norms/DPE but as per the directives of the higest decision maker & his few favourites. b. Even awards distributed in annual functions are influenced by favourites. c. Enough scope for incompetent contract employees to become on roll if you have right contacts d. Few employees who work are overburdened and will never be acknowledged & few enjoy maximum performance pay just for file keeping.
