Pros

Friendly coworkers. Most people are doing their best.

Cons

Really poor communication. Expected to have a deep knowledge of clients from day one. Not given enough time to get your feet wet before they expect the world of you.

Pros

Your job responsibilities will extend far beyond the job description, so you learn a lot (regardless of whether it's within your career interest, expertise, or even abilities). If you want to get a lot of experience in a short amount of time at any cost, this is the place for you. Some really wonderful people work here. None of them are in positions of true authority.

Cons

Shot: The "co"-leader of Pyxl (currently VP of Marketing) is engaged to the owner/CEO of the company. Chaser: the "co"-leader is profoundly incompetent. But there's nowhere to go with that issue because of her relationship with the CEO. Clients, prospects and prospective employees were routinely lied to by leadership about the size of the company, the capabilities of the team, the capacity of the team, and even the details of some contracts. Employees gaslit at every turn--conversations about bonuses or pay "never happened". Massive disparities in pay within and across teams. Micro-management is rampant and unchecked--expect to get a request, then get asked about it 3-5 more times in the next few days even if you've clearly communicated progress/expectations already. Unless of course you are one of the lucky few that get chosen to be the "co"-leader's favorite--this is an ever-changing roster and asking too many questions will get you cut from the list. "Co"-leader routinely got confused on pitch calls and client calls about elementary advertising and marketing concepts like programmatic, automation, SERP, etc. When I last worked there she did not know the difference between Google Sheets and Excel. This leader was brought up in nearly every exit interview in my time at Pyxl as a reason for departure. The other leader is nice, but follows the tone set by "co"-leader. Beyond these two leaders, it's a *tiny* company and there's very little upward mobility.
