As far as pros, there are some really great people to work with at Pureformulas. Everyone is engage and has sense of ownership of what we’re building together. Paychecks are biweekly. Work balance is good. There are so many exciting opportunities ahead! The culture here is upbeat and energetic, but relaxed and casual at the same time. It’s a fun place to work. We can buy low-cost healthy snacks.

I remember my first day, I was sitting in the lobby and someone came over and asked if I had been helped, it was the CEO Jose Prendez. He is an amazing, smart, approachable visionary. He comes round our department everyday to say good morning - an inspiring leadership style. The team I work with is brilliant but fun! They are an inspiring group of people who are smart and have an entrepreneurial spirit. I have never worked at a place with so much laughter, positivity yet a disciplined focus on getting things done. The leadership listens! If you give them feedback about anything, they promise to do something about it, fostering a culture of constant improvement and positive change. We just ran the Color Run 5k as a company and shut down for a few hours to do company lunch with everyone...it's nice to see a company that focuses on camaraderie and preserving the culture. Members of the leadership team served lunch and everyone got to sit down with the CEO and the rest of the team to just chat! There are two lunch rooms..one in the office area and one in the warehouse area same with the bathrooms and water fountains...so you have choice! The company is growing and has had double digit growth for years, it's a successful company that focuses on excellence and has positive cash flow. Employees are incentivized and rewarded to be part of that growth. And if that's not enough, the company's mascot Bruno is the cutest dog ever...he occasionally comes by to take pictures for marketing and drive sales to the 'dog store'. I love my job! I love the company! I love my co-workers. It's the best career move I made.
