Pros

The discount is good and all the gratis (free stuff) is great....I have had nothing but great staff and all will to do what it took to do a great job. The customers were wonderful and once you got your regulars you really got to know them on a personal bases.

Cons

Where do I begin? How about the TOTAL lack of product in the stores...and all the excuses that follow as to why over and over...counting and counting is all we do cause "that will fix the problem" but nothing ever does. Almost 3 years since Premier took over and they still can't get their act together. Because of the lack of product we are supposed to lead customers to similar produts, but when even those are gone what are we to do??? Pay is not worth it, and don't ever expect a raise cause it will never happen because you can make commission, but commission is so unachievable you will stay where you are. This is just the top few things, This company is going down hill fast with so many store closures ridiculous expectations and higher ups not caring about the employees that make thier company.... DO NOT WORK HERE!!! Oh and if your lucky enough to get benefits they suck!!!!! Don't be fooled by anything they say cause you will get tossed out like an old shoe!

Pros

The company offers healthcare and 401K benefits if you meet basic requirements. Employee discounts are good. Locations are in malls and some free standing.

Cons

Where do I start? The upper management doesn’t care about running the salons they have or they have too many and too few people in charge. Having no receptionist or support staff is the new norm. The appointments aren’t booking themselves. Nail supplies are non existent. Salon and spa supplies are slow in being stocked. Half of the supply orders are being filled and you keep reordering and hoping to get what you need. Brian Luborsky, the CEO is fully aware of the issues and has been told and advised by people who have worked for him and he “yeah yeahs” everyone and does nothing to fix it. That’s why so many productive, high producing technicians have quit and moved on to places just around the corner that respect their businesses and employees. Every 5-10 years most businesses do an update or refresh on their salons and spas. New salons and spas move into the neighborhood and existing ones need to stay fresh to remain competitive. Not this company! Employees have taken pictures and signed petitions and still no repairs were done. A whole group walked out because they could just move to a place that did have a fresh look, receptionists, assistants. You can save money by not paying for repairs or remodels and lose more than you saved by doing that. You get out what you put in. There is just too much talk with this company but no action to fix the real issues.
