Pros

A very stable organisation, was given opportunities to share my ideas with my team and there are opportunities for learning as you have to develop capacity internally.

Cons

The opportunities for growth was limited. Despite being an A+ performer and having more responsibilities, it took me five years to have my first promotion. This is not peculiar to me only. It is even more common to mid level managers.
